Who wants to get more fit and lead a healthier lifestyle? Many of us don't start or stick with getting fit because we find it mundane or boring. So why not incorporate some fun into walking, jogging, hiking, biking or other activities that get us up and out the door and then have some fun on top of it?!?!
I am 45, overweight,and didn't always use to be like this. Like many of you I remember when I use to be way more fit and would like to strive for that again. As we get older our health is more dependent on a healthy lifestyle and it's always way more fun to walk together than walk alone!
Everyone is at different fitness levels and all levels are welcome. Believe me I can't run half a block...and I would like to work on that, but baby steps right? The only requirement is a good attitude and trying to do your best!
I would love for our little group to be uplifting, fun and even venture out to lunch/dinners/happy hours so we can learn more about each other and share tips on how to eat and live healthier. I hope you all contribute to the conversation and help pick activities that you would want us to join you in. Let's mix this up, do different activities and just have FUN while going from fat to fit!
