Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Our membership is over 280,000 strong with thousands of clubs located around the world. Our members learn to improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending our meetings. We provide a safe environment to overcome fear, try new speaking tactics, or practice that upcoming sales presentation. At $70 every six months, it is a very cost-effective way to build confidence by improving your speaking skills. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The address is: First United Methodist Church of Glendale 134 N. Kenwood Street Glendale, CA 91205 Walk to the main office, and let the receptionist know you are here for the Toastmasters. Parking: Limited parking is available in the church lot (off Wilson) and off the alley behind the church. Street parking is also available on Wilson, Kenwood and Broadway. Cost for guests: There is no cost for guests attending our meetings. As we like to say: "We help unravel the tongue-tied!" This is a group for anyone interested overcoming the fear of public speaking, improving communication and leadership skills, or you just simply want to meet new people, socialize and network. We are a Glendale, California club part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit organization developing public speaking and leadership skills through practice and feedback in local clubs since 1924. As we like to say at our club "We help unravel the tongue-tied!"
