Hi 21st Century Networkers
My name is Mike Dutka and my own experience of spiritual self confidence after more than 37 years of extensive and at times very intensive spiritual practice is that it is very, very different from and much, much rarer than any other kind of self confidence, because it is not founded on anything that is known. Spiritual self confidence is born from and deepens with every glimpse we have of that mystery which we are, beyond our mind, emotions and our limited sense of an individuated self and these glimpse’s are often revealed and accelerated by a true Spiritual Master, if we are lucky enough to find one. In spite of life’s sometimes ecstatic highs and traumatic lows this kind of confidence in spirit, in that which we always are, never leaves us, it never wavers.
If you want to find out more about this very important and intriguing topic then would love to see you at Andrew Cohen’s talk see below for info.
Spiritual Self Confidence
Monday 11 April 2011, 7.30pm
Evening Talk / Dialogue with Andrew Cohen
For twenty-five years, EnlightenNext founder Andrew Cohen has been developing a new path for spiritual awakening that is tailored specifically for contemporary cultural pioneers who are deeply passionate about change.
During this evening talk on 11 April, we will discover how accessing this spiritual source of confidence within ourselves can help us transcend many of the deep-seated ideas and responses that limit our sense of what’s possible, and liberate our own highest aspiration for change.
“Spiritual self-confidence fills one’s heart with a love that is not dependent on external circumstances for its fullness. It’s a love that is unshakable, unmoving, and indestructible. Such love – a love that transcends yet simultaneously embraces the world – is what compels human beings to evolve, from their own deepest depths, and to become better citizens of our world and our cosmos. Knowing the mysterious source of that love is knowing before thought that life is good. That inherent goodness is who we really are.”
