GCH Asked to Provide Humanist Program for Prisoners

The warden of Fairton Federal Prison, in South Jersey, below Vineland, has asked us to provide a Humanist program for inmates who have requested our support and assistance. Other inmates have visits by pastors and ministers but the Freethought population of the prison has requested info about forming a Humanist or Atheist group at Fairton.

This was suggested by Mike Cluff from South Jersey Humanists, who was first contacted by the Warden. We have asked the warden to come to our Meetup on Sunday, May 6th, and are awaiting a reply. I will keep you posted on this welcome development. Mike and Susan have expressed an interest in helping with this. Anyone else?
