3 Lenape Trail, Wenonah, NJ
John Burroughs looked like Santa Claus. His nature essays were so popular in the early 20th century, they were read by children in most American schools. Inspired by the land near his Catskill Mt. retreat (‘Slabsides”) and his friend Walt Whitman, he saw the experience of nature as the best, most real form of prayer. Join Oom John on a Catskill ramble.
