The Gloucestershire Walking Group

The GWG is part of the Ramblers and is primarily intended for people of working age with an interest in getting outdoors, walking and enjoying the countryside, with the odd detour to a local pub or tea shop. The group also has an active social calendar with members organising a range of cultural and more strenuous activities.
We make no charge for our walks and guest walkers are welcome but once you have walked with us a few times we will ask you to join the Ramblers. When you complete your application please insert our new group code 'GR50' in the box marked 'group'.
If you are planning to join us on a walk please check the walk grading and distance is appropriate for you and ensure you have appropriate clothing and footwear. If you are not sure please give the walk leader a ring before you come.
Unfortunately we do NOT allow dogs on our walks (Unless a 'Registered access dog' or equivalent)
