We'll walk for about 5 miles from Mallard's Pike lake in the Forest of Dean in a loop through the forest. Should be about 2.5 hours once we set off, all off-lead and fairly flat in the woods with no livestock (although a very occasional deer or boar!).

The lake is near Blakeney on the A48, follow the signposts for Go Ape! GL15 4HD once you pass Blakeney. There is a fee for the car park, I think £3. Meet in the car park near the ticket machine. There is a new cafe by the car park or picnic tables by the lake if you want to bring something to eat afterwards.

Follow us on Instagram for pics!

We ask for a voluntary donation of 50p per walk towards the Meetup subscription (unused money goes to a kitty for group activities). We're a friendly social group run on an amateur and voluntary basis where you are responsible for the safety and actions of yourself and your dogs, please let me know if you have any medical issues I should be aware of.
