9 AM - Kick off the day with Brandi Geiger, M.S., C.M.T, of Fit Mind N Body Total Wellness Solutions in Danville. Brandi is a Wellness Coach, Massage Therapist and Neuromuscular Reeducation Specialist. She will cover posture and exercises.

10:45 AM - Nutrition Consultant Marlese Carroll, will speak on which vitamins and foods support the healing of the digestive system. She will cover how vitamin A, Fatty Acids, and Amino Acids nourish and strengthen. Samples and recipes will be handed out.

12 PM - Family Chef Amy Fothergill...It's birthday party time! Whether you are hosting a party or going to one, good gluten-free food, especially for kids, is vital. Amy will show you how to make some delicious gluten-free and dairy-free vanilla cupcakes, as well as a simple gluten-free pizza crust.

1:30 PM - Our own Viognier Chef Preston Dishman, and his wife, Viognier General Manager Nichole Dishman, will be demonstrating tasty gluten-free hors d'oeuvre preparation! Samples and recipes will be handed out.

3:15 PM - Dr. Connie Hernandez, N.D., Bay Area naturopathic practitioner for over 15 yrs, will offer a naturopathic perspective on gluten sensitivity. Why is gluten sensitivity so common? What are the symptoms and conditions associated with gluten sensitivity? What are the basics of testing and elimination/challenge diets? Dr. Connie will be accompanied by Holistic Health Counselor Sarah Rose, who will offer tips and recipes for creative gluten free living.

4:45 PM - Cookbook Author and Pure Pantry Founder Elizabeth Kaplan, will do a book signing and cooking class! Cookbook, Fresh from Elizabeth's Kitchen is available for purchase upstairs at Draeger's in San Mateo and Menlo Park. It’s High Tea Time! Elizabeth has just returned from a book tour in London and will be demonstrating how to prepare a gluten-free high tea with recipes from her gluten-free cookbook. Recipes include Gluten-Free Maple-Pecan Scones, Gluten-Free Tea Sandwiches and Gluten-Free Coconut Lemon Curd Squares.
