For our next half marathon, we will be training for the Zoom Quarry Lakes event! For 2 months we will build a base and start our true training the week of January 5. With the holiday season coming, this will allow everyone to have the flexibility to relax on training a little bit before getting back into the swing of things come January.Typically for a base training run, aim for a 6 - 8 mile run.
Of course, everyone is always welcome to run however little or much you'd like! The mileage suggestion is just that, so please listen to your body and run at your own ability.
We will also meet afterwards at Coffee Society for some warm beverages and socializing!
