  • Men's Discussion Group
    • What we'll do The Monday Night Group is one of the stalwart support groups of the agency with a strong and consistent weekly following of men from the DC Metro area. The men are primarily upwards of 35 and generally identify as cisgender and either gay or bisexual. Most of the men have been members of the group and clients of the agency in other capacities for three to five years and throughout the weekly meetings provide great insights into the social, historical, and cultural narratives of Black Men who have sex with men. The weekly meetings generally focus on issues of identity/self-image and what it means to find companionship as a black man who desires other black men. The Monday Night Group is a group of men who through these weekly talks have created a sense of community and belonging for themselves. Gay Men's Discussion Group meets every Monday from 6-8PM For more information, please contact Joseph Reaves at [masked] https://www.uhupil.org/support-groups • What to bring • Important to know

  • PFLAG Monthly Meeting
We are parents, families, and friends of the LGBTQ community. Our support efforts provide encouragement and resources to parents, families, friends, allies as well as LGBT people themselves. We come from various backgrounds, occupations and age groups. Some of us have gone through similar experiences, sometimes we are still struggling with being a parent or family member of a loved one who is LGBTQ, but we come together to share our story and enjoy the company of other PFLAG members. We hold meetings once a month to talk about all kinds of things. This is a confidential space to share and learn information to educate ourselves about current LGBTQ events. Meetings are every third Monday of the month. Come join us at the DC Center from 7-9pm [masked]th NW suite 105, Washington, DC). We hope to see you there!
