    The Commentary

Please RSVP at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/first-friday-lgbtq-social-tickets-163459350317 so we have an accurate headcount. The first 50 to RSVP will get in.

This event is ideal for making new friends, professional networking, idea-sharing, and community building. It's free to attend. Yes, wear your most fabulous mask if you wish.

Our beloved venue, The Pinzimini Lounge at the Westin Hotel, has been reborn and renamed as The Commentary! Please join us on Friday, August 6 from 7 pm to 9 pm and see all the wonderful new amenities at The Commentary and catch up with each other.

You can still enter from the hotel side; but, you will see a brand new entrance dedicated solely to The Commentary. The menu also has changed to an All American eatery infusing East Coast ingredients with a West Coast flair. Of course the staff still will be fabulous. And complimentary hotel parking will still be available once you purchase a drink and have the manager sign your valet card.

The Commentary is about coming together and connecting in conversation and shared experiences.

Come join us. Bring your friends and make new ones!

As Madonna said, "Come join the party..."

Mingle with fabulous LGBTQ+ folk and allies. TJ Flavell (http://www.tjflavell.com) will be there to greet you. Bring your friends and meet new people from all over the world.
    No cover.

Casual attire is fine, but wear something patriotic if you wish.

You are welcome regardless of where you live. Guests from DC, Maryland, and Virginia often attend. If you are taking the Metro, the Ballston stop is only two blocks from the Westin. The South Elevator exit is closest.

Yes, you are encouraged to your most fabulous mask. If you haven't been fully vaccinated, have a fever or cough, please just stay home. You can find a COVID-19 vaccine near you by searching locations on Vaccines.gov .

Feel free to invite all your friends on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/events/524143495404091
