Are you interested in learning about Deaf culture and picking up some basic American Sign Language (ASL)?
Come to The DC Center for a lesson and an opportunity to meet new LGBTQ people in the area! We will teach about Deaf culture, Deaf people, and learn some basic ASL and LGBTQ terminology!
Why do we have this class? To create more opportunities for Deaf people to make new friends and for hearing people to understand Deaf LGBTQ people.
A donation of $5 is recommended, and it is encouraged that you review the basic ASL alphabet before class. Here is an ASL alphabet resource.
