@GayDistrict (GD) Men 18-35 discussion group

On 1st and 3rd Fridays, Gay District (GD) meets at The DC Center for the LGBT Community.

Discussion usually lasts about one hour, followed by going out for dinner and/or drinks.  GD creates a safe place to meet for conversation and socializing for students, young professionals, people new to the area, newly "out" men, and any guys interested in meeting DC-area men.

*Gay District is a discussion group for men age 18-35.*

The DC Center is located next to the Post Office in the Reeves building at the corner of 14th and U Streets NW.

GD meets at The DC Center.  It is located inside the Reeves building, which is a government facility.  We encourage attendees to bring their photo ID. If you do not have or are unable to present photo ID, please contact GD facilitator Justin (GayDistrict.org) or The DC Center’s Executive Director David Mariner.  Attendees will need to enter the Reeves building via the “Exit” doors on 14th Street, facing the McDonald’s.

Gay District is a community-based organization focused on building understanding of gay culture and personal identity, awareness of community events and civil rights for gay, bi, trans, queer, questioning and intersex (GBTQQI) men age 18 to 35 in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Empowering them with the opportunity to assist and participate in activities will foster a better gay community. Our mission is to help our participants become aware of everything the region has to offer through social and professional networking opportunities as well as partnering with other LGBT groups and community-based organizations for various activities and volunteering.
