Valentine's Day Dinner and Social

Enjoy a fun social and optional dining Tuesday, February 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Freddie's Beach Bar & Restaurant,[masked]rd St. South, Arlington. This is another great way to meet friendly LGBTQ people in a festive atmosphere. Crystal City Metro is within walking distance. Both singles and couples are welcome to attend. 

Go Gay DC leader and AGLA member TJ Flavell will be there with name tags. We will gather on the patio. Tuesday is Taco night, so dine on tacos or the regular menu if you wish: AGLA is reserving half the patio from 6-8 p.m. Arrive anytime that is convenient for you. 

It's free to attend. Cash bar. Must be 21 or over to get in. 

Crystal City Metro is the closest Metro stop. When you arrive and exit the fare card reader, go up the first escalator and enter the glass doors on your left. Walk through the underground shops to 23rd St, turn right and cross Eads and walk about a block up. Freddie's is on the right. Map.  

At 6 p.m., there will be a special free performance by singer Cathy Gorman, who will sing love ballads and soft rock selections.

Optionally, as ongoing community service, if you can, please bring along travel-sized unused soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. for A-SPAN (, which provides life-sustaining services for people in need. Or clean out your cupboard of unused nonperishable food items for AFAC. ( . This event will serve as a convenient collection point.

This special event is hosted by AGLA. AGLA is a strong beacon for equality in Arlington, Virginia. It's an inclusive nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit open to all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQ) people and straight allies.
