*** NEW START TIME FOR THE GOLD COAST - 6pm DOORS OPEN, for a 6.30pm START ***
WELCOME to our next Gold Coast Property Group meeting for 2018! It’s all happening on Thursday, 24th May.
What's in store this month?
Julie Cary from Grummitt Town Planning (http://www.grummittplanning.com.au)
Julie is also back by popular demand to give us an update on all things Planning! Make sure you're in the room to hear Julie speak on the hot topic of ‘secondary dwellings/granny flats’.
This is first hand, on the ground information from a trusted source, and affects all of us investing in the area so make sure you're in the room!
Real Deal - Simon Culotta
Simon entered the property market back in the 90’s with his first investment, a townhouse purchased in Nerang. This one purchse, all on the back of reading a book by Jan Somers. It wasn't until he read Steve McKnight 0-130 Properties in 3.5 years, that this really impacted his knowledge and journey.
Simon's career as a qualified Credit and Risk Manager meant this book appealed to him as it was all about the numbers and solving problems to create solutions. Working with numbers and mitigating risk are two skills SImon used every day for many years and they fit well with his property investing.
Today Simon enjoys working in his profession and using those skills along with the knowledge he acquired to continue to build wealth via property, and help others to do the same. Simon is hoping to ramp up his investing towards full time so he can transition from the corporate world and help others to achieve the same, and reach financial freedom.
Paul Copeland from William Buck Accounting (http://www.williambuck.com/)
Paul is back by popular demand so that he can answer all your tax structure and GST questions.
Paul has done a stack of property developments himself and knows from experience how to best structure and manage your purchasing entities for maximum efficiency. Every question Paul gets asked, he is able to answer efficiently and with plenty of humor so bring along your best questions to stump him!
Paul may even do a whiteboard scenario where he assesses someone in the audience to ensure they are investing in the most tax efficient way.
Do I need to RSVP?

We know as much as anyone that technology is not always that simple so Matt's created a short video for you on how to RSVP. Check it out by clicking this link: http://bit.ly/GPCGMeetupRSVP
What if I want to come to every meeting, what can you do for me?
Good question! We have a large number of our community members who do just that, so we have a special Gold Membership. This includes free entry for 12 months to ALL of our meetings (including Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast), plus you get the video recordings, audio and slide shows of each meeting in case you can't make it. There's a lot of other inclusions too but I know this page is getting long! You can read more here http://bit.ly/MeetupGold
