Birding by Bicycle: Corte Madera

We'll cycle mostly off city streets on paved multi-user trails in Corte Madera and nearby towns, stopping at marshes, creeks and ponds to view ducks, shorebirds, and passerines. This ride is mostly flat, but there are a few small hills including a surprisingly steep one on S. Eliseo Dr.

Bring binoculars, field guides, snacks, and wear layered clothing. This birding ride is co-listed with Grizzly Peak Cyclists.

Helmets required.

Rain cancels.

Directions: from Berkeley or San Francisco: get onto Hwy 101 (south from the Richmond Bridge, north from SF) and exit Paradise/Tamalpais Drive; go west approximately 1/2 mile and turn right on Pixley Ave and almost immediately right into the parking lot.

Carpooling:  from SF email Pat, from Berkeley email Jeffrey

Email Pat if you want to borrow binoculars or with weather questions.

Leaders:  Jeffrey Black - [masked]
                      and Pat Greene - [masked]
