  • This is a "learning-through-birding" walk and all levels are welcome. This will be on mostly paved trails and we will be looking for our year-round residents as well as any Winter visitors that have arrived. We’ll also be keeping our eyes peeled for the unusual migrant trying to slip through unobserved.

Restrooms and water fountain located near North Lake.

    Heavy rain cancels.

Meet at the parking lot adjacent to South Lake across the street from Bercut Equestrian Field (see map above using satellite view).

Directions:  Enter Chain of Lakes Drive in Golden Gate Park at 41st off of Lincoln Way or at 43rd off of Fulton St.

Leaders:  Bonnie Brown and Mitch Youngman
