  • Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living provides children, ages 6 months to 12 years, with a safe environment to explore their spirituality and to gain a foundation of practice with universal spiritual principles synthesized from the world’s religions. Our youth programs present wonderful ways to grow and nurture the inherent wholeness that exists in our youth.

Children, teens and young adults are a vital and essential component of our centers. It is our intention to offer youth a personal, meaningful, enlightening, and fun experience of spirituality.  Youth who attend a Center for Spiritual Living experience programs that are spiritually-based and include inspiring activities.*

We are committed to enthusiastically revealing Spirit as a loving presence and affirming the divine nature of each youth. We celebrate youth and provide the space for full self-expression through the exploration of spiritual concepts and principles using our custom-made Science of Mind and Spirit curriculum. Our youth programs include learning about affirmative prayer, practicing meditation, sharing empowering stories, participating in craft projects, music, and more, while providing a foundation of spiritual practice that meets each child where he or she is on their Life path.

The teacher of the day will be at the fireplace toward the left of the seating area to meet you and your children.  The children are invited to sit with their teachers on the ledge at the fireplace, or with their parents in the adjacent chairs.  We stay for the opening prayer and chant/song then walk back to the classroom behind the stage.

Teens meet the lead teacher/guide in the lobby of the Corte Madera Community Center by10:00 and everyone walks over to Cafe Verde together and return around 11:05.  The Teens are invited to participate in the affirmation and the Peace Song at end of service, or join their parent/s.

After services, we meet and mingle with Rev. Karyl and other people in our community over refreshments and fellowship. We look forward to meeting you.
