What is involved in a Gong Sound Journey?
During this Sound Journey with Gongs my main instruments of use are Planet Gongs and Symphonic Gong. The Gongs vary in size from 20 inches to 40 inches. On occasion I will use different instruments during the session that compliment and have therapeutics benefits. I may use crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, a rainstick, chimes drum or my voice during the session but the main focus is the use of the gongs – they are my passion 😊
The gong is more than a musical instrument. It is an agent of transformation and when it is played the body mind and spirit change. The purpose of the gong is not to entertain but more to transport you somewhere in order for reintegration to occur.
My planet gongs are called Chiron – Paiste (32 inch gong) and Sidereal Full Moon - Paiste (24 inch gong) and they are tuned to specific musical notes. Chiron is known as the wounded healer. Chiron accesses our deepest wounds and is also known as the Gong of Initiation. When we are looking for meaning through our pain and turmoil Chiron helps us find a way through.
Sidereal is also known as the full moon gong. This gong helps with realizations concerning goals that you have set in place. It assist you through decision making and gives energy to help you complete goals.
My smaller handheld gong is a beautiful 20 inch Oekten Water Gong which I use to sweep the aura and energetic field of attendees. Last but by certainly no means least is my 40 inch Oekten Symphonic Gong. Its sounds and vibrations are sure to mesmerize you …… to believe it you must hear, feel and experience it 😊
The focus is on your relaxation and rejuvenation at all times. All you need to do is make yourself comfortable, be present and surrender to the sound and vibrations and allow me to do the rest.
