What we're about

Welcome !

This group is about experiencing outside the realm of your daily life. It could be about food, culture, exploring our neighborhood, travel , awakening and much more. As your organizer ,I hope to nurture a lovely atmosphere, so we all feel welcome and have fun getting to know each other. I love arts and culture , good food, discovering new possibilities, but mostly about getting to know people in a cosy environment, where we can share our stories over a great meal, laugh at comedy club, engage in lively conversation, immerse ourselves in an artsy experience or a theater performance. I am huge movie fan. I would definitely plan some outings at a movie theater. I also love to travel. For those of you who have the travel bug, I'll be sure to collaborate with some great travel consultants. Life is to be enjoyed. I urge you to get out of your comfort zone and meet new people. Be open to new experiences. Please join me on this journey. Let's Celebrate Life. Hope to see you all soon. 🤗

MEDIEVIAL TIMES DINNER & TOURNAMENT( Advanced ticket purchase)

Experience the New Show! For the first time in Medieval Times’ 34-year history, a queen has taken the throne. Her Majesty Doña Maria Isabella presides over a tournament of knights who gather in celebration to test their skill against one another in a series of games, jousting, and combat. The new story brings new costumes, custom-designed and handmade armour, fight scenes, and musical score composed by Dr. Daniel May. Witness an amazing show that presents a rousing live jousting tournament and classic sword fights. Marvel at awe-inspiring horsemanship and falconry. Seated in the castle’s climate controlled Grand Ceremonial Arena, where after receiving colored crowns, you'll cheer for one of six knights (donning matching colored tunics) who chivalrously vie for the honor of Queen’s Champion. With so much excitement, you’ll build up an appetite. The castle’s serfs and wenches will serve a delicious “hands-on” medieval-style four-course meal that includes garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, oven roasted chicken, herb-basted potato, corn cobbette, pastry of the castle, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages. There are also delectable vegetarian, Halal and Kosher options. A full-service bar is also available for adult guests. Castles open 75 minutes prior to show time, and the shows run approximately two hours. The show times schedule varies by season and may be subject to change. Admission price includes the show, a four-course dinner and two rounds of select beverages. Inform the venue if you have any dietary restrictions Please note that the dinner is served without eating utensils, you're going to eat with your hands just like people used to do in the 11th century. IKEA RESTAURANT AND BROWSING

Ikea - North York

IKEA RESTAURANT Who doesn't love IKEA food ? It's quite inexpensive and enjoyable. It's cafeteria style eating, trying Swedish style foods. I particularly like torte with coffee, or the Swedish meatballs with lingon berry sauce. There's smoked salmon, ice cream, Swedish apple cake. If you wish to purchase some goodies to take home. They have frozen and baked goods too. Where can you get a full breakfast for a $1 ? I'm going down memory lane recalling my love affair with IKEA. It's been awhile since we've seen each other.🤗 Join me for a good breakfast or brunch, some shopping and engaging conversation. If you need more enticement check out the photos below. I love the psychedelic bus. I hope it's still has the same artwork. Every Canadian should have an IKEA experience. I know it's a Swedish company. You have to admit those Swedes have some great ideas. For Transit goers take the Shepherd line to Leslie Station and hop on the shuttle bus to IKEA.
