GDG Cloud Chicago is a group of engineers that foster learning of Google’s cloud technologies. We are a welcoming group for anyone interested in learning/sharing about the vast offerings in the cloud space; primarily on Google Cloud offerings. We meet to discuss a wide array of topics ranging from general compute and serverless (such as GCE, GKE, Cloud Functions/Run), Big Data Offerings (such as DataFlow, DataProc, and BigQuery), SRE/DevOps (such as CI, CD, and build pipelines), and other cloud topics.
Our group is open to all skill levels, and everyone is welcome to come join us in learning, teaching, and networking with others! We aim too host monthly meetups, along with study jams for hands on learning and growth. In this ambitious goal, we hope to lean our community (and the extended Chicago meetup community) to learn from one another and help promote growth together! When the Chicago community wins, we all win! If you are interested in giving a talk, reach out and we are happy to help come up with some ideas!
