Google Glass Office Hours and Design Sprint

We will kick-off the evening with a Design Sprint, lead by Jenny Murphy, a member of the Glass Team. During this part we will talk through the Design Principles for Glass in a hands-on workshop to paper prototype Glassware.

After that, Developer and Designers Office Hours will take place and will help you kickstart, unblock, or accelerate your Glass project. Together with Jenny Murphy, Allen Firstenberg, a Google Glass Developer Expert, will be on hand to answer your questions, help you with any issues you're having, or just brainstorm together.

Food + drinks for the event is sponsored by Google.

Note: This event isn't going to be live streamed or recorded.

    Hi Glass designers & developers!

We'd love to learn about your progress -- or any obstacles you have faced -- since you attended our Glass Design Sprint in May.

*Please fill out this survey* (it should take 5 minutes at most!): http://goo.gl/eemo23

*If you have built Glassware* based on what you learned during the Design Sprint, there is a chance we can feature your story at Google I/O!"

You were asking about the link to Allen and Jason's book. This is it: http://shop.oreilly.com/product/0636920032564.do

I bought it myself and I can only recommend it for anyone thinking of some serious Glass dev or design.

Good Meetup, it's been some time since I've regularly attended any Meetups and this was a great one to respark my interest. I will definitely be back and hope to have a working beta piece of Glassware to share.

It was nice to meet so many more GLASS enthusiasts.
Meeting really cool and interesting people, makes these events a must. The presentation had information for people who are new to designing for GLASS and other what have done so already.

Is it ok to just attend the Design Sprint and not the Office hours? I have more design issues rather than technical ones. :-)

    • Antonio Z.

That's alright, just attend the part that it's useful for you. We'll be happy to see you either way :-)

You'll get more to show up if you tell them there will be punch & pie

You're right, and I added it to the text above. Would it help if I put a photo too? If so, which one?

I attended the recent New York City session -- and highly recommend that folks take advantage of the "Design Session". This will focus your thinking for providing good "Glassware" that would help a user taking advantage of the key attributes that Google Glass brings.
