Amplify, embellish and exaggerate and other basic rhetorical skills!

Do you desire to improve your life?  For instance, would you like to be a little more spontaneous, quick-witted or creative?  And who couldn't benefit by being a little more funnier than they already area?

Got U Laughing Improv Comedy Workshop is a weekly workshop that will provide an opportunity for people to discover/develop their "creative genius" skills by learning and practicing improv comedy in a fun and "safe" atmosphere.  Participants do not need to have prior improv comedy experience and do not even have to be funny.  It will be helpful if you enjoy laughing because your laugh muscles will get a huge workout at each workshop.

The minimum age is 18; there is no maximum age.  Got U Laughing features "clean" comedy with a little bit of "spice."  Cost to attend:  $5 plus a minimum 1-item purchase from the Jungle Bill's menu.  (Can be food or drink or both.)

CURRENT LOCATION:   Jungle Bill's Tiki Bar , 2950 Gulf to Bay, Clearwater, FL in the room where Coconuts Comedy Club meets.

Because there were 3 first timers and Ralph who essentially qualified as a first-timer, we started off with Zip Zap Zup followed by the Name Alliteration Warmup Game. Of course, the way we play it, by the end of that game, everyone's names are even more confusing than when we started. One of my favorite games of the evening was the Olympic Sportscasters game. We're going to fine-tune some aspects of it and play it again next week. In addition, we're going to do some more "inner thought" games. As for last night, in retrospect, we should have done more drills on amplification, embellishment and exaggeration. No worries. We'll just do them next week including the Mannequin Warmup Game and "On the Other Hand..." By the way, has anyone been noticing how June has been syncing her computer with our workshop? It's exciting for me because of all the possibilities that will be opened for us, including the Newsflash Improv Game. A huge thanks to everyone who was there last night!
