Tournaments will start at 9:00 PM beginning on 11/7/13 and last until 11:00 PM.
These weekly tournaments sell out every week. Registration opens one week prior to the event. We recommend registering early. Please, if you sign up and change your mind, change your RSVP so that someone else can play. If you RSVP for guests, it is your responsibility to make sure that your guest count is accurate. You are required to pay for any of your guests who do not show up. No-shows will be recorded on your account and are grounds for being dismissed from the group.
How the waiting list works: If a spot opens up for the tournament, people on the waiting list will receive an email notification. However, the spot is first come, first serve. We do not automatically place people from the waiting list on the confirmed list because if it is a last minute spot, the person who automatically gets the spot may not be aware they are supposed to show up. IF YOU ARE ON THE WAITING LIST, PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP EXPECTING TO PLAY.
If we start to see problems with people reserving spots and canceling at the last minute or on the day of the tournament, we will change the settings to require payment in order to RSVP.
You can sign up by yourself or with some of your friends. You may request to play on the same team as someone else. We will try our best to accommodate, but it may not always work out. We'll take care of creating the teams on the day of the tournament and making sure that everyone has a great time. All you have to do is show up ready to play!
We'll be on Field 3 playing 6v6. Each team will have one sub. Cleats are not allowed. Please wear turf shoes or flats only. Shinguards are mandatory.

We'll be on one field for two hours. Check in begins at 8:30. We will start the tournament on time at 9:00. When you arrive, please check in with the Sports Monster Staff. Get there early so that you can stretch and warm up. If you have not checked in by the start of the tournament, 9:00, we may give your spot away to people on the waiting list. To run a great tournament, it is important for players to be ready to start on time.
You can pay using a credit card or your PayPal account. Or, you can RSVP online and pay cash when you get to the event.
We do our best to create even teams each week. The entire tournament takes place in one evening and the winners are rewarded with bragging rights.
This tournament consists of four teams of 6 people (plus one sub). On the day of the tournament, we'll take the RSVP list and divide it up into teams (A, B, C, & D) You may request to play on the same team as someone else, just make a note of it when you RSVP. Each game will last 14-15 minutes. Every team gets an hour of playing time. We'll keep track of the standings for the tournament. This format is great for combining playing time with time for socializing with other fun and soccer-loving people like yourself! 3 points for a win, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss. The teams in the final two games are decided by points, then goal difference then goals scored. If the final is still tied after 15 minutes, 5 minutes of 'Golden Goal' will be played. If the game is still tied or we are running short on time, there will be a penalty shoot out (no 'Golden Goal' if we're low on time).

If the tournament fills up, we will open a waiting list.
Refunds or credits are available if you change your RSVP from "Yes" to "No" at least 48 hours before the day you wish to play. If you change your response to "No" less than 48 hours before the tournament, you will receive a credit only if your spot is filled by another player.
