New Meetup Scheduled: What's new in Grails 2.0 / Groovy 1.8

From: Steve P.
Sent on: Thursday, November 10, 2011 10:37 AM

Hi All,

The 2.0 release candidate has been... released! Whats new? Why do I care? How can I get more productive with the latest releases? How good is eclipse these days? What about STS?

I've added a date, time and location to the popular suggested meetup on our meetup page (http://www.meetup.com/Grails-Boston/events/34746092/) Fellow member Jim Mason will present and demonstrate the upcoming features in Grails 2.0 / Groovy 1.8, followed by a discussion on how they can help us in our work.

Date: Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

Time: 7:30 pm

Location: Cantina offices, 15 Cypress Street Newton CenterMA (top of the stairs, on the right)

Hope to see you all there!

Regards,

Steve
