Hi Steve,

I like the meeting thread concept - emerging business tech ... there's a long line of interesting topics that could be done there that would be relevant to a lot of us.

The first is good. There's a variety of other related mobile use cases / solution types as well.

Hey everyone,
As mentioned at the meetup last night, Cantina has started a new meetup: Emerging Business Tech. Shameless plug, I know, but I think it'll be fascinating.
The first event is coming up: Native and HTML5-based mobile: strategies for mobile app development
The options for developing mobile apps are rapidly expanding and actively changing. In this meetup we’ll compare native and HTML5-based mobile app development, the tools available for each, factors to consider when choosing a technology direction, deployment options, hosted services, rolling your own and client- and server-side development.
This meetup group provides engineers, practitioners and managers the context needed to evaluate and adopt rapidly evolving business technologies. Leave with an understanding of what the technology is, why it’s used, when to use it, and next steps to take. We’ll review use cases, processes, tools, and practices in a mini-conference format through short presentations, hands-on tutorials, Q&A and code walkthroughs.
Also, thanks again to everyone  attended and especially to those who spoke!
