Create, experiment, unwind! Sample a variety of art techniques and supplies!

• What we'll do In this Thursday's Art Buffet, we'll be experimenting with a variety of art supplies and techniques. In the past, we've done pour-painting and gelli printing techniques as our main demonstrations. We've done watercolor paintings, wire and jewel suncatchers, and collage. Art Buffet sessions may include supplies and techniques for mixed-media art, collage, art journaling, stencils, stamps, paints, inks, etc. Feel free to bring your own projects or art / bullet journals to work on, if that's your preference. No experience necessary. A desire to create is all you need! • What to bring Adults and teens are welcome to attend. This event is not appropriate for young children. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting paint on. Alcohol is not allowed because we rent our beautiful art room from the church. You may bring soft drinks and food / snacks. You may also bring clippings of art techniques and supplies you're interested in so we can discuss and plan future meet ups to your liking. • Important to know First session per person is free. Future sessions are $10 each. A small donation toward supplies is always appreciated. Please sign up by Wednesday afternoon of the week you want to attend, so I can get all the supplies together. Arrive 10 minutes early to register at the table just inside the alcove. You'll be asked to fill out a form with your name and personal info due to liability reasons and also because, as a non-profit organization, The REC Center applies for grants which require info about who we serve. So, participants must fill out the form in order to enjoy the Art Buffet. I apologize if you are interested in joining this meetup group but haven't been added yet. I only have the basic plan for now and it won't allow me to add more members unless I upgrade.
