What we're about
Hello! This group is for anyone looking for meaningful discussion with minimal time commitment. Read selected excerpts and talk to a friendly group; no other reading or knowledge is required. We're looking for new members and now is a great time to join! In September, we're starting a new title from the Great Books Foundation called Imperfect Ideal: Utopian and Dystopian Visions, which we'll discuss throughout the year and finish in May.
We always meet 7:00-8:30 pm on Tuesday evenings. Please note that the book's six main sections have been reordered and sometimes divided. If you would like to purchase a copy, they are available for $25 at the Reference Desk at Palatine Public Library or you can order through the Great Books Foundation online store (https://store.greatbooks.org/imperfect-ideal-utopian-and-dystopian-visions.html).
