What we're about

‘If you don’t know the exact moment when the lights will go out, you might as well read until they do.’
-- Clive James

[ In person meetings have resumed as of November 2021. Online meetings will continue for those members unable to attend in person. ]

This group is for anyone interested in reading and discussing great books. We mostly read contemporary fiction, but a few classics and non-fiction titles sometimes appear on our bookshelf too.

We meet in Edinburgh city center, and online. So, if you enjoy a great book, a cup of coffee or tea, comfortable chair, and good company discussing books at the week-end, come join us.

Please keep logging into the website to keep your membership active, as inactive memberships (members who don't log in for more than 3 consecutive months) will be cancelled.
