April Fool's Hike Combo (Moderate Level)

  • This location is shown only to members

  • This is a hike to an area of the smokies that gets limited use.   We will hike Hyatt Ridge to Enloe Creek.  We will have to wade or rock hop the creek at Campsite 47. We will continue out Enloe Creek to Hughes Ridge Trailhead.  We will then return back the same way to our cars.  This will be a 10 mile hike.

After completing that section of the hike we will go to Towestring Road, and leave some cars, and then proceed to Smokemont to hike the Smokemont Stable Trail to Towestring Road.  This will be a 3 mile hike.

The first hike begins on the Straight Fork Road.   If you need directions on how to find Hyatt Ridge Trailhead, message me.

    Dress appropriately for the weather.

For a map of the elevation and trail, click here.

Since I was not able to do this on New Year's Day, why not make it for April Fool's Day.
