The Denver Permaculture Guild proudly invites you to a workshop event facilitated by Caroline Savery.
Caroline Savery is a co-operative business development consultant and based in Denver, CO (recently of Pittsburgh, PA). She specializes in sustainable, democratic, and equitable group processes. She aims to draw from an array of established techniques, practices and principles--including co-operative business models, sustainability theories, anti-oppression, collaboration, consensus, and more--in a holistic, integrated way designed to best serve the needs and purpose of each unique group.
Caroline will be offering two educational workshops for the DPCG Inner members and other members of the public/DPCG's community. The first covers an Intro to Consensus decision-making practices and tools (plus a discussion on pros & cons of other decision-making protocols), and closing with tools and practice for facilitators. Consensus is based on strong and rotating facilitators, so everyone can benefit from learning how to facilitate effectively.
This one is Thursday February 6 from 5:30 to 8:30pm at the Grow Haus (4751 York St, Denver, CO 80216).
Please bring a potluck dish to share as well as your own plate/bowl/cutlery.
