Homesteading in the Hood

Join us in bringing the barnyard to the backyard during Homesteading in the Hood on Sunday, May 18th at the Pearl Street Farmers' Market! From 9 AM to 1 PM, we are celebrating the resurrected art of homesteading: sustainably living off and with the land in our urban homes and neighborhoods. It's self-reliance in style!

HobNob Events is currently seeking applications from passionate individuals, businesses, and nonprofits in and around Denver whose work relates to modern homesteading or green living. What's your expertise? From composting to canning, gardening to goats, and beekeeping to home-brewing, this specialty market will feature a myriad of local creatives who are rooting down and making do, with DIY flair. We would love to showcase your unique products and services to hundreds of our neighbors and community members who attend this annual event!

Help Denver take back our backyards in this community-wide celebration of self-sufficiency and local living. Applications for Homesteading in the Hood are available here: -- deadline May 1. Check out for more details!
