Have always wanted to learn about picking, a treat to hang out at EarthLinks, lunch was great (yum!) and love that my hands smell like fresh dill...not to mention that I see perslane in a new light..."more Omega-3 fatty acids than any leafy vegetable plant". "when harvested in the early morning, the leaves have ten times the malic acid content as when harvested in the late afternoon, and thus have a significantly more tangy taste." (someone was noting the mild taste, guessing our batch were picked this morning). Thank you for a lovely mid-afternoon!
