Growing your own sprouts and micro greens class this Saturday!

Hi all!  I’ve just joined your meetup.  I can’t wait to start meeting fellow gardeners and sharing ideas as well as veggies!  I’m also excited about sharing info and experiences with people interested in sustainable gardening and self sufficiency.  Growing your own sprouts and micro greens year round is a superb adjunct to large scale farming, and produces large amounts of ultra healing super foods for literally pennies.

I’m teaching a class this Saturday on growing your own sprouts and micro greens (bigger than sprouts, smaller than baby greens – plants that are grown in trays which won’t grow with conventional sprouting methods).  I thought some of you might be interested.

Looking forward to seeing you at the meetups!  Happy Spring!

James Galusha

Here’s the class info:

Join master grower James Galusha for an afternoon of learning how to grow your own superfoods for pennies!  Learn how to grow a wide range of sprouts – alfalfa, cabbage, radish, clover, fenugreek, broccoli and more!  Grow your own healthy, thriving bean sprouts in prolific amounts for next to nothing too!  Mung beans, adzuki beans and so much more can be grown to produce healthy, leafy sprouts that are far more versatile than the bean sprouts available in health food stores.  Come learn with James, a sprouting expert who has been growing his own sprouts of every kind for over fifteen years.  Also, learn how to grow trays of your own antioxidant rich, immune boosting, protein rich microgreens!  Pea greens, sunflower greens, flax greens, chia greens, wheat grass, barley grass and more can be easily grown in trays using James’ methods.  Learn how to grow all of these sprouts and microgreens year-round for literally pennies, not dollars!

An article on called sprouts the number one most bioavailable food for human beings and the very highest in nutrition of all foods.  Many seeds are full of vitamins, and sprouting a seed increases the vitamin, enzyme and mineral content of a seed by up to 600 times!  Pump up your health the inexpensive and easy and fun way!  Create your own mini sprout farm and put some serious pep in your step!

Class will include demonstrations of all steps involved in the process, handouts with detailed instructions, "hands-on" training, and jars and trays of live sprouts and microgreens of many types will be present in the classroom.  Learn techniques, details and secrets not published anywhere else, coming from years of experimentation and dedication.  This class covers every conceivable aspect of growing sprouts and microgreens; covering my growing secrets in minute detail and explaining many different growing methods, the best places to buy organic sprouting seeds cheaply in bulk, cleanliness and sterilization techniques to ensure the success and health of every single crop, proper harvesting, drying and storage methods to ensure your sprouts will stay useable for more than a week after harvest, and much more.  Even learn how to cheaply grow so many sprouts you can juice them, and learn how to juice them, along with wheat grass, without a special wheat grass juicer!
