On May 3 at 10:00 a.m. we will be holding an invasives weed pull and workshop at our home. We also invite anyone interested in bird watching to view our 34 bird houses, bird nesting platforms and bat houses as we work towards safe insect and rodent control while protecting endangered raptors, owls, song birds and bats. Additionally, we have a native pollinator bed and organic garden side by side for viewing and questions. Optional hike to follow in Blue Marsh in an area I done have extensive research over the last several years.

We got a lot of yard work done as we prepare to make our yard into a bird sanctuary. Soon we will have 2 native wildflower beds in the yard and 2 raised bed gardens.

We will probably be visiting the BMECC Rentschler Arboretum for a quick tour of the grounds after meeting at our home.
