How do you think of yourself: humanist, atheist, sceptic, agnostic, secularist, bright or other?

Atheist, secularist, humanist and skeptic.

Please say a little about yourself, your interest, work etc

I used to work as a freelance business analyst, before I retired in December 2015. I enjoy cycling, watching football -mainly on telly - playing guitar and listening to music. Plus, I like a good film or TV drama.

What are you passionate about? What are your priorities in life?

I'm fairly passionate about humanism. I feel the religious have too much privilege in public life. I respect their right to believe, though not the belief itself, and feel strongly about the whole concept of faith schools in that I just think they're divisive. They segregate young people and force them into a religion they have no real say over. And in so doing make them less understanding of other societal groups. That's just wrong.

Please add a photo of your self to your profile (optional)
