We will be planting native shrubs and trees as part of TD Tree Days! 150 native trees and shrubs will be planted, as well as invasive plants removed!

We also need a few Volunteer Leaders to help with the event as there will be up to 50 people! If you feel comfortable in a more leader position, please sign up and email me at [masked]

Form 1: Volunteer Registration. ( If you have already filled out this form for previous events, then it does not need to be filled out again. Only fill this form in once.

We will be working rain or shine.

Meeting Spot and Parking

We will meet in the park by the playground and grass area.

How to get to the location

Transit/Cycling. To find out the best route from where you are, please go to BC Transit ( or use Google Maps (

Carpool. If you need a ride log into your Meet-up account, RSVP and leave a message at the bottom of this event page describing where you need a ride from.

Flow of Volunteer Activities

• Meet at 9:45am for sign-in and introductions (please be on time)
• Plant trees and shrubs!
• Take a refreshment break halfway through
• Volunteer until 1pm, sign-out at end, and take an eco-friendly gift home!

What to bring

• If you're under 19, you must sign the electronic form and have your parent fill in last portion here:

• Refillable water bottle
• Dress for the weather. Rain jacket/pants if it rains, a hat if it is sunny.
• Long-sleeved shirt and long pants to protect you from thorny plants and ticks
• Clothing you don't mind getting dirty
• Sturdy, comfortable closed-toe shoes/boots.

We will provide

• Gardening gloves if you don't have them
• Tools
• Instructions on what to do. You don't need to have experience to participate!
• A fun experience, meeting new people in beautiful park!
