This interactive, hands-on workshop will give you and your family the tools to make your home more comfortable while saving energy and money, whether you own or rent, whether you’re in an apartment, mobile home, or house. Learn how to implement simple measures to lower home energy use by installing effective weatherization materials using basic tools such as scissors and a screwdriver. Income-qualifying Portland residents can pick up a free weatherization kit immediately after the workshop; non-income-qualified individuals can purchase weatherization materials from CEP. This workshop is given several times throughout the weatherization season up to late March, so check the calendar for other days and locations.
