Free People Free Markets: Part I - The Moral Foundations of Capitalism

This lecture delves into the 5,000-year history of the development of property rights and a market-based economy. It draws the two threads of Western Civilization into a coherent tapestry. The roots of free enterprise are explored from the perspective of Greco-Roman law and logic, and from the perspective of Judeo-Christian morality.
