Your company is requested at lunch at The Gate Clock (Wetherspoons pub in Greenwich centre) followed by a free visit to the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich followed by afternoon tea.
We meet at The Gate Clock close to the DLR Cutty Sark station exit. Meet from 12.30. About 14.00 we move on to the National Maritime Museum.
Pilates for the over 50s is a shorter (45 mins) gentler style of Pilates suitable for more mature members or those new to Pilates. There will be a five minute rest break when Joy will explain the value of regular Pilates exercises. Pilates is not difficult - it strengthens your core, keeps you agile and tones you up.
To join the class just go to the link which will appear only when you have clicked to join the event. The passcode if required is[masked]. Follow any online instructions. Firstly you will enter the waiting room. Then Joy will let you enter the online gym where you will join Joy and the other students. Turn on sound (click on microphone icon labelled unmute) and video (click on camera icon labelled start video).
The class costs £7 for the hour. If you book 6 classes in advance (to be taken within 2 months) the cost is only £30. We will discuss payment arrangements after the class.
This event is shared with our parent club and several Meetup groups. It typically attracts around 12 people.
