What we're about

Nothing matters more in life than who you spend your time with. Share with others the possibility of joy, good health, and productivity. Meet interesting and dynamic people who have struggled in one way or another with something difficult, and lived to tell about it. In this amazing group of caring individuals, you will find it's easy to open up. Many of us struggle and haven't been our best selves because of the barriers that grief and sadness bring. But actually, sadness and grief of any type (trauma, loss, breakup, loneliness, hardship) can give us opportunities to make significant changes in our lives.

Grief has galvanized individuals to create art, architecture, music, poetry, and other creative endeavors. One famous example is the magnificent Taj Mahal which was built by the emperor of the Mughal Empire. His wife died while giving birth. Grief-stricken, the emperor went into mourning and threw himself into creating a monument to their love.

The very funny Stephen Colbert lost his father and two older brothers at the age of 10, and instead of staying stuck forever, he sharpened his humor and pushed through. Watch his raw energy here! https://youtu.be/T_qkVPZ8DJI

This is a meetup group where you'll be socializing with others, making friends, and working through to the other side of grief: possibility. Please join if you're open to developing possibilities in your life where you could see yourself happier, healthier, and more productive. We will focus on understanding that the surrendering you've done has been a sort of clearing away to where you are now, and that's the best foundation to build on what's next for you. Grief may never go away, but developing possibilities for yourself and your future will guide you towards a meaningful resolution of your sadness. Let's enjoy each other's company as we work on the task of acceptance and open up ourselves to happiness, health, and productivity.

Everyone is welcome. This isn't a group that'll be homogenized. In fact, expect a fair amount of diversity.
