On June 5, 2019 the Griffin Chapter of the Georgia Nature Photographers Association will conduct a presentation and workshop on Nature Photography. The session will begin at 1:00 PM and end at 3:00 PM. They will explain some of the basic concepts of photography, including how to control exposure and depth of field, and composition.
If you (or someone you know) are trying to learn more about taking control of your camera and getting it off of the “AUTO” setting, this is for you. Many beginning photographers are unsure of how to use their camera controls and functions to take the type photos they want. This Bootcamp will focus on controlling light through the use of Camera Mode, Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO. Anyone wanting to learn more about this is welcome to attend. It is free and open to the public. Those attending are asked to bring their cameras and camera manuals.
You will learn about how to control light, bring attention to your subject, and using depth of field to enhance your photographs. This may sound daunting; however, all it will all be presented in an easy to understand manner, with a hands-on practice session afterwards.
Please share this information with others, and make plans now to bring your camera (from smart phones to DSLRs), your camera manual, and a friend.
