Introduction to Basic LightRoom post processing Techniques
On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at the Griffin Chapter of Georgia Nature Photographers Association in Griffin, GA, Art Stiles will explain and demonstrate some techniques for post processing images in Adobe LightRoom. This meeting will be held in Conference Room (#109) of the Spalding Senior Center, Griffin, GA. Members as well as interested potential members are invited. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Using photos he has taken, Art will demonstrate most of the tools and techniques available in Adobe LightRoom to enhance and improve the original RAW images. He will explain the difference between global and non-global applications, using the various tools in the Develop Mode of LightRoom. He will go over each of the tools and panels in LightRoom and discuss some of the ways they can be used to enhance an image, as well as some things to guard against to avoid “over processing.”
Art is an avid amateur nature photographer, and enjoys not only the photography, but learning new techniques and tools for post processing images. His background as an instructor in the Army, and his years teaching in public school, help him deliver information in an easy to understand manner.
