I can follow basic recipes and whip a few things together without the assistance of instructions. While my cooking experiences and skills exceed some of my friends I am by no means a sophisticated cook. But I do enjoy good food and I like to cook.
Pretty much anything. I like healthy, sustainable food and belong to a club that allows me to buy locally grown meat and dairy that is either organic or near organic. I have also recently gotten into fermenting and want to learn to do canning.
My wife thinks I am a culinary explorer since I once (unsuccessfully) tried to swallow a raw egg like Sylvester Stallone in Rocky and put dried grasshoppers in my soup in Mexico and ate termites in the Central African Republic. I'm a foodie I guess.
