I’m delighted to announce our HSP-friendly art workshop presented by long-time Meetup member HSP Bridget Woodward. Here is her description: "This workshop is about tuning in the deeper parts of ourselves through using the visual arts, exploring our creativity and intuition and celebrating our awareness of subtleties. Working in this way offers us a chance to communicate in a natural and organic way which can feel uplifting and empowering, as we discover our inner strength and a sense of possibility.
No experience is necessary as the emphasis is on the process rather than the finished product. The pace will be slow and there will be plenty of time for reflection and sharing of experiences. Using the arts helps us to feel nurtured, replenished and connected with ourselves and with others.
We will practise simple art journaling techniques using a variety of media such as watercolour, drawing and collage. Often there will be a theme which is linked to nature and the seasons. Some sessions will involve gentle movement, creative exercises, mindfulness and guided visualisation.
All materials are provided. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron. Do contact me through Meetup if you have any questions."
"In the creative process, as in falling in love, we contact our sweetness, longing and powerful intention, and profound thoughtfulness" Joseph
Bridget is kindly donating part of her fee to the National
Centre for High Sensitivity, CIC. Thank you so much Bridget :)
