Is humanism a life style, a belief system, an alternative to religion, a philosophy? All or none of these?
This month, we are delighted to be hosting Andrew Copson, Chief Executive of Humanists UK and president of Humanists International. He is the author of two books on secularism for the Oxford University Press and has written articles on humanism and secularism for The Guardian, The Independent, The Times, and New Statesman. Andrew regularly represents the humanist perspective on national television and radio, including Newsnight, The Big Questions and The Today Programme. Most recently, he appeared on BBC Radio 4's Beyond Belief to discuss relationships education and children's rights.
Signed copies of Andrew's recent book, "Secularism: A Very Short Introduction" will be available to purchase after the talk.
