What we're about

Triad Linux Users Group (previously Guilford County Linux Users Group) is a LUG for the residents of Guilford, Forsyth, and other surrounding areas. Among PC users, there is a growing interest in Linux, both in the area, across the nation, and around the world. We hope to facilitate users in making the change to a Linux operating system, as well as provide continuing, thought provoking presentations that are beneficial to current users of Linux, whatever their level of expertise.

These goals will be accomplished through sharing our interests and knowledge with each other, as well as inviting presentations by both members and non-members at our meetings.

We encourage all Linux users, as well as those who want to learn about Linux, to join. It does not matter your current skill level. The operating system is free, so small businesses are especially encouraged to join, as well as students and other professionals. There is no dress code for our meeting so come casual or dressy or anywhere in between.
