Welcome to Adults with High Functioning Autism of Colorado!
This is a spot for those with high-functioning autism and similarly neurodiverse minds to gather. While we are primarily located in Colorado, we welcome individuals from all across the United States, and the rest of the world.
There are many groups for autistic individuals, but there are not many for adults. Further, of the adult groups that do exist, many are very focused on discussing problems and are loaded with self help sessions. That isn't the vibe of our group. In this group, we focus on the positive things autistic individuals bring to the world and we don't try to change you. We're more about having fun, being accepting, socializing, and coming together for activities. Of course, sometimes people seek advice from others, and that's okay too. We hope to be a place where you feel accepted in being yourself, safe to share your voice, and supported in your life.
