Joshua Tree National Park off-trail hike

  • November 30 · 9:00 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

Rated moderate, 700' elevation gain, 4-5 miles. Some trail section, then mostly off-trail down a wide dry wash. Lunch in the desert willows at the bottom. This is a beautiful wash just barely within the west entrance of the Park. Not much visitation. Participants must be club members, no +1s, club waiver of liability applies. Please rsvp. Look for my small white RV at the visitor center.

Tim, you must have wiped your hand across your face after your brush with the killer bush. Your nose and lip had the evidence of combat, but no one mentioned the small injury because we had Joe, our Marine, in our hiking group today. We wanted to be a little tougher today. 🇺🇸

The only injury was the Trader Joe's chocolate lover demonstrating how NOT to caress a cat's claw acacia bush.

The best hikes are inspired by dark chocolate.
