Panelist Bios:

Monte Ratzlaff directs the system wide Cyber Risk Program at University of California Office of the President. In his role, Monte participates with UC leaders to establish cyber risk strategic plans and objectives. He also leads the UC Health CISOs from each UC Health location in various information security related initiatives. In his prior role at UC Davis Health System, Monte managed the IT Security department and also served as the CSO. Mr. Ratzlaff has extensive experience in information security within the banking and health care industries and holds CISSP and CISA professional designations.

Jason Elrod is a senior technologist, organizational leader, and consultant with over 30 years of experience. For the past 20 years his primary focus has been on strategic architecture, privacy, and information security. Jason is passionate about taking the complex nature of technology, strategy, and information security and turning it into understandable, effective, and scalable solutions. He is the Chief Security Architect at Sutter Health.

David Finn is the Executive VP of Strategic Innovation at CynergisTek. He has been involved in leading the planning, management, and control of enterprise-wide, mission-critical IT and business processes for more than 30 years. His unique experience in risk management and control objectives of technology (including audit, security, and privacy) allows him a distinct perspective in the design and implementation of business applications and the processes that the technology must support. David is focused on using technology as an enabler of operating efficiency and deriving business value through the optimization and control of technology. He is known for creatively engaging all types of audiences, conveying messages that even change-resistant users listen to and remember.

Marcus Grindstaff is a business strategy and product technology leader with more than 20 years of experience in the high tech industry. Marcus is currently the Chief Operating Officer, and has responsibility for Care Innovations sales and operations. Prior to this role, Marcus held several roles at Care Innovations including VP, Sales and Market Development. Marcus joined Care Innovations in 2011, from the Intel Digital Health Group. A 17-year Intel veteran, Marcus held leadership roles in both Intel Capital and Intel's core semiconductor business. Marcus also served as the Technology Director in Intel's Ultra-mobility Office of Big Ideas, where he was responsible for building the Low Power Chipset team, delivering Intel's first low power chipset for the Atom* microprocessor. Throughout his career, Marcus has focused on growing exceptional teams chartered with delivering strategy, technology, marketing and product execution throughout the U.S., Asia and Europe.
