This group is for those of us foodies who are tired of the regular restaurants, and are looking for a different kind of dining experience. These private kitchens are excellent for private celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, or proposals. If you're looking for ideas, we may be able to help you too. Some of the chefs are open to special requests to help make your night more memorable. On occasions, our chefs will host various cooking classes as well. Not only can you enjoy the food, but you can participate and learn as well.

Our organizers will scour the city for the best chefs around. We will provide a platform for chefs from different backgrounds and origins to host private dinners and classes, to share with you their culture and love of food. The majority of the private dinners will be hosted in the chefs’ own homes, and will allow you, the foodies, to enjoy the chef’s creations in the purest form.

We will also organize dinner activities at some of these private kitchens. Our events will be small, intimate gatherings, that allow us to meet fellow foodies and share our love of food. It is a great way to meet new friends as we are all united here for the love of food, no matter what background or culture we are from. We aim to create our own "SociEATy."

Table d'Alice Black Truffle Tasting Menu

The Black Truffle Tasting Menu is one to die for. For all truffle lovers, this menu is full of truffle dishes, it can't get any better than this. Table d'Alice brings us an authentic French menu not found anywhere else in Hong Kong. She has worked and traveled extensively through France, bringing together recipes from different regions. More about her below.

We hope you will enjoy her food as much as we do. Alice is a great host with a lot of passion about her food. She pays attention to the finest details to ensure that you only get the best from her every time.

[Anytime] Dinners are dinners that you can sign up for and schedule any time. We do ask you to give us a minimum of 2 days notice so the chef can order and prepare all the necessary ingredients. Many of the ingredients are flown in from France, and other countries. These events are great for private parties, celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, engagements. Or if you are planning surprises like marriage proposals, or have special requests, we would be able to work with you on this as well. Some of the kitchens have other menus available as well, feel free to message me to ask.

This hidden gem is located in North Point, at Chef Alice's home. It is a clean, spacious environment with a homey feel. The place is very private and you would be able to enjoy this fine meal in peace with your close friends and family, maximum 13 people. The privacy and atmosphere is definitely not something you can get normally at a restaurant. However, do note that if you are a small party, you may share the venue with 1 or 2 other groups.

Wine is of course welcome. You can bring your own bottle, and we will have a decanter and glasses available for you. As this is a private residence, we do ask that you be respectful.

About Chef Alice:

I am always a foodie with passion in cooking, and i love meeting people. With the cooking dream, i insist in quality and cooking for people the real French food. After more than 10 trips around France and almost 2 years working experience in French restaurants, I have collected recipes from local homes and restaurants of different regions. All dishes i do are not commonly found in restaurant here. All these authentic tastes and memories are here to share with all of you!

I love eating but i like to stay fit and healthy as well, so here at my table i will show you the modern healthy version but still maintaining the taste of typical french cuisine of different specific regions. ALL from bread to desserts are homemade. Also the local French families I have visited have inspired me with the priority of the freshness and quality of the raw products.

For those who haven't had chance to visit France, you can have first taste of some typical French cuisine. And if you already had some great memories in France, then here is the chance to revisit with your palate.

Table d'Alice brings you the authentic French regional dishes all across the country. All ingredients are directly imported from France and freshly selected local organic products.

Here we bring you chef Paola, who will be serving you authentic Indonesian food. If you’ve only had Indonesian food in restaurants, you’ve probably never had anything quite as authentic as this. These home recipes are what chef Paola grew up with, and have perfected over the years. And to top it off, we will be enjoying this beautiful dinner under the moonlight, on a rooftop in Kennedy Town, with panoramic views of the harbor, Tsing Yi, and Lantau Island. If we’re lucky, we may even see fireworks from Disneyland!

The menu we will taste, Nasi Tumpeng, is a philosophically rich menu, traditionally meant to mark the special occasions of your life, such as birthdays, graduations, new years and anniversaries. Each part of the Tumpeng holds its own meaning which will be explained by Paola. Due to its complexity, we do need to have a minimum of 8 people in order to enjoy this menu.

As with the nature of a private kitchen, space is only limited to 16 people. Our rooftop is only available during dry weather. In case of rain, we will have the indoor dining for maximum 10 guests. We would need to reschedule if we have more than 10 people and it's raining. And as this is a private residence that the chef has shared with us, please be respectful to our host. Please let me know when you made the transfer so that I can confirm that payment has been received, and your space is reserved. Exact location and directions will be given after confirmation.

About Chef Paola

Paola was born and raised in Indonesia. She gained her cooking skills from years of observing her family's catering and bakery business and her love for Indonesian food grew at home. When Paola is not cooking she is either exercising or blogging about her zero waste lifestyle. More on zero waste lifestyle below.

~ As we both lead zero waste lifestyle we only provide reusable tablewares and have no rubbish bin in our apartment and rooftop area.
~ All ingredients are bought in bulk, organic, and local whenever possible. All leftovers will be composted and packagings recycled.
~ We kindly request our guests not to bring disposables, non-compastables and non-recyclables, or simply bring it back with you once you're done.
